Conflict is an inevitable part of life, but knowing how to manage it constructively is a skill that enhances friendships, relationships, and overall school harmony. edYOUtopia’s Managing Conflict K–6 Fun-Shops are designed to empower students with effective communication skills, respectful disagreement techniques, and the ability to negotiate win-win solutions. Let’s Be Friends	45 min, K–2	This engaging session for younger students teaches them how to join games, make friends, and listen and speak respectfully. Through fun activities, they learn the importance of celebrating win-win outcomes, setting the foundation for healthy social interactions.
Friendly Me	1 hour, Years 3–6	Designed for students in Stage 2 and Stage 3, this workshop uses games, storytelling, and problem-solving exercises to deepen understanding of friendship, effective communication, and conflict resolution. Students learn to negotiate respectfully and find solutions that work for everyone, enhancing their relationships and social skills.

“We had Dr Patty come to our school and deliver her differentiated workshops to all our students from Kindergarten to Yr 6. All our children came away with some really important learnings around what bullying is, why it happens, the difference between bullying and conflict, and what to do if you either witness or experience bullying.
